As the Plant HR Manager you will be responsible for delivery of a broad generalist service, whilst addressing key industrial relations, employee engagement, management development, performance management and culture change challenges in a plant environment
The key responsibilities will include:
Administration:
Time office functions, Attendance, Payroll inputs, Software knowledge, Leave Cards - updation
Legal compliances : PF, Employment exchange, Apprentice
Contractor statutory compliances, Contractor Management, Labour Availability according to the requirements from the departments
Staff Vehicle Management
Security Control and management
Contract renewals and amendments
Employee Management:
- Demonstrates positive two-way communications, fair and consistent administration of company policy and procedures, responsiveness to employee concerns and problems.
- Maintains employee morale, productive workforce, and Business Unit/Company expectations. Gives regular feedback.
- Coaches and counsels each employee for job and career direction.
- Organizing employee engagement activities and new initiatives for employee engagement and motivation
Employee Services: Processing of Medical Insurance claims, LTA, Medical reimbursements
Expenses/Costs Control:
- Cross checking of bills related to HR & Admin.
- Control on expenses relating to manpower and labour and other admin expenditures
Recruitment
- Recruitment : dealing with consultants, Arranging advertisements, walk In interview, Screening of Resumes, arraging interviews, candidate feedback
- Tracking the date of indent and closing the position on time
- Joining & Separation formalities,
- Maintain Employee Records
- Tracking the Attrition Rate, conduct Exi Interview
Training & Development
- Providing hand to department for ensuring competency development by providing, training, to employees in a systematic way those are
- Induction programme for New joinees
Training need identification
- Preparation of training calendar according to the Development plant and track the development plan for all employees
Liasioning
- Liasioning with govt. officials, Police, village people
Performance appraisal
- Probationers and trainees appraisal, facilitate the meeting with Managers / Supervisor
- Coordination and Documentation of Appraisal
- Facilitate the understanding of Appraisal process to employees
Candidate Profile:
Min 4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing plant
Superior interpersonal skills and time management
Computer literacy and HRMS knowledge /implementation experience preferred
Fluency in Hindi is a must
