HR Budgeting :
- Consolidate historical data under specific budgetary heads (compensation, benefits, administration etc.) as an input for budget preparation
- Prepare monthly reports for review of HR budget & cost tracking
Employee Relations :
- Participate directly or coordinate for completion of meetings of various comanaged committees
- Create an environment of fairness by continuously interacting with Shop floor Managers and operators
- Lead the grievance redressal process for the plant
- Supports Assistant HRM to create the event calendar for the unit and ensures active participation of the workforce at all level
- Ability to resolve workmen queries related to all statutory requirements and help them in coordination with relevant govt. department
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure the statutory compliance applicable to unit are adhered to
- Ensure the monthly returns are filed before deadlines
- Have end to end knowledge of working on EPF, ESIC, PT portals
- Experienced in liaising with government authorities
- Ensure all statutory requirement at the time of joining of workmen are adhered too
- Lateral Recruitment (factory workforce):
- Finalize and coordinate with various recruitment sources (e.g. newspaper advertisements, employment exchanges etc.)
- Conduct recruitment tests for candidates
- Analyze and declare recruitment related test results
- Coordinate for completion of second and final interview
- Coordinate for medical check of candidate
- Conduct referral check and offer making formalities
On Boarding and Induction :
- For workmen, complete joining formalities and handover to respective department
- Update new joinee details for payroll purposes
Compensation (factory workforce) :
- Conduct workman compensation survey along with AHRM as and when required
- Analyze and present survey findings/recommendations to factory HR manager and factory manager after thorough verification of data
Performance Management(factory workforce) :
- Coordinate with shift managers for execution of appraisals
- Consolidate appraisal ratings in desired format
HR Policy Design and Revision (factory workforce) :
- Communicate and implement HR policies at factory and resolve queries
Employee Engagement :
- Coordinate and ensure timely implementation of the initiatives
- Track effectiveness of initiatives undertaken
Exit Management:
- Communicate resignation related details to factory HR manager (factory, finance HO, HR HO etc.)
- Coordinate for exit interview for workman
- Complete exit formalities such as dues settlement, experience letter etc.
Essential:
- Knowledge of labour laws/regulations;
- Knowledge of HR operations at factory (attendance, leave, contract labour management)
