Plant HR Head of leading Leather Industry

Job Purpose:

- This position is responsible for all HR activities across the Leather and Leather Products of Plants covering manufacturing, marketing and support services across these two locations

Department: HR

Key Responsibilities:

- Understanding of business direction and needs.

- Manage the complete employee life-cycle from manpower planning to exits (with recruitment, administration, performance management and development).

- Plan human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas and ensure in time recruitment of required quality. Drive talent acquisition and management and manpower planning.

- Creating and maintaining a harmonious industrial climate such as to ensure no negative impact on business.

- Ensuring robust processes are followed for a transparent and effective performance management with appropriate quality checks.

- Manage employee costs and compensation and benefits in line with corporate guidelines.

- Effective learning and development needs identification and focused delivery of learning programs that are oriented towards business.

- Optimizing revenue budget for HR and Administration

- Effective relationship building and management with external agencies

- Keeping abreast with developments in the HR profession and implementing applicable best practices.

- Manage, develop and retain the HR team

Desired Profile:

- Must have experience in across all aspects of the employee life cycle with specific emphasis on HR systems, IR and people management.

- Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills

- High level of business orientation and understanding

Educational Qualifications: MBA

Relevant years of Experience: About 15-20 years of relevant experience

Competencies: Relationship Building,Process Orientation,Problem Solving
