Head Plant HR & IR - Leading Manufacturing Company - Mumbai


- Will be managing the HR / IR operations includes Employee Relations, Union Management Relations, Grievances Handling, Union Management, Legal Issues and Court Cases, Payroll Management, Policy Formation & Implication, Statutory Compliance, employee engagement, Manpower Planning, Training & Development & MIS.

- Ensuring HR policy design and development, related amendments to the employee regulations & rules and other administrative issuances in consultation with organizations strategies & program through various policies and wage settlement

- Developing systematic feedback mechanisms for evaluating policy impact and effectiveness, and mechanisms for respective policy updates and changes, taken into account evolving organizational goals and needs

- Managing end-to-end recruitment life cycle and ensuring adherence to the process including employee recruitment and retention, employee development, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, HR records management, HR policies development and legal compliance

- Assessing effective budgeting (company headcount, staff cost, compensation, staff welfare & benefit) in line with the business plan

- Sharing the compensation structure with the new joiners and ensuring adherence to statutory compliances like PF, ESI, and gratuity & bonus

- Managing legal cases in consultation with the advocates and senior councils and liaising with Govt. Authorities; addressing & resolving IR issues & formulating suitable policies / strategies to build & maintain employer-employee relations

Spearheading:

- Grievance Redressal

- Employee Engagement & Employee Relation Activities

- Contract Labor Management

- Analyzing HR and administration processes, streamlining systems, focused on improving processes to promote reliability, increase simplicity and enable scalable growth

- Forging quality relationship with the internal customers & external recruitment agencies with a resultant increase in quality of hire and a reduction in hiring time

- Formulating & benchmarking functional best practices to focus on development of capabilities to meet present and future goals and mission set by the organization

- Developing, managing and monitoring performance of multi-skilled work-force and conceptualized need-based training programs to enhance their efficiency & productivity

- Designing training modules; evaluating the effectiveness of training programme by constantly developing & implementing pre and post assessment tools; finalizing training calendar and execution program

- Organizing Reward & Recognition Program on the performance reviews and top grading, skill assessment & evaluation, trainings and other skill enhancement methods to enhance productivity

- Acting as a consulting arm for sensitive/legal issues/challenges pertaining to redeployments/ maternity/ layoff & so on Reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of specific training & development initiatives to ensure that they meet with management and company requirements and ensured that key learnings are delivered to the highest quality standards

- Working in close coordination with the management for development of organizational structures as well as with the Govt. Officials, HR and IR Strategy, Union Settlements; representing the management in domestic inquires
