Plant Head - Seasoning & Flavor Manufacturer

Our client is one of India's largest seasoning and flavour brands in India with 10 manufacturing plants across India. Their clientele has the top FMCG and QSR companies. They are looking for a Plant Manager based out of Mumbai who will handle close to a 125 cr output and a team of roughly 100 employees.

Reporting into the Operations Head and managing a team of head of departments, you will be responsible for:

- Planning, organising, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed their customer's expectations.

- Safety, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Administration and Maintenance at a plant level and establishing KPIs for the performance tracking

- Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while cutting unnecessary costs and adhering to quality standards.

- Developing systems and processes that track and optimise productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.

- Implementing projects based on Six Sigma/Kaizen/5S/TPM/TQM to drive continuous improvement.

- Maintaining the administration team and liaison with the external bodies for operational approvals.

- Owning the P&L of the plant taking responsibility of budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources.

- Experience in handling multiple audits

- Vendor Management, Supplier management, Contract Negotiations and Customer Expectation management.

Ideally you are an Engineer (BE/B.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical/Manufacturing) with core FMCG/Food plant operations experience for at least 10+years. You should have strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills and should build strong relationships with staff, clients and vendors. You should have demonstrated excellent track record in your last roles and should be ready for the next challenging role in a growing organisation.
