Plant Head - Production

This role would be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the Plant. Also will oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, safety, and personnel management. Working closely with department heads and corporate leadership, ensure the efficient and effective operation of the plant while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the plant in alignment with company goals and objectives.

Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, inventory management, and logistics.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and consistency.

Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies. Implement safety protocols and initiatives to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Personnel Management: Provide leadership and direction to plant staff, including department managers, supervisors, and frontline employees. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to plant operations, including production output, efficiency, quality, and costs. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the plant budget, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and labor costs. Ensure that financial targets are met while maintaining operational excellence.

Maintenance and Engineering: Oversee plant maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and capital projects. Coordinate with engineering teams to optimize plant processes and implement technological advancements.

Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure a steady supply of raw materials and components for production. Optimize inventory levels and logistics processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to meet customer requirements and support business growth.
