Technical Skills: 

- Should have good Analytical Skills

- Having good exposure of Plastic Extrusion / Injection moulding Production Process, Basic knowledge of Tools, Dies and PLC controlled m/c.

- Sound knowledge of Critical to Quality - processes and parameters and use of Problem solving Techniques.

- Knowledge of Polymers properties (PVC Formulations).

- Able to recommend correction and improvement in Dies, ancillary equipment's.

- Exposed to Systematic Problem solving technique, i.e.

- 7 QC tool, QMS, Six Sigma or Poka-Yoke.

- Process knowledge and Planning, Troubleshooting Production accounting and Costing.

Behavioral Skills:

- Go getter, excellent interpersonal & communication skills, employee champion, ability to influence, Organizing skills, Zeal for continuous improvement and excellence are some of the mandatory traits.

1) Job Purpose:

- To ensure monthly meet Budgeted Production and Inventory, WIP Target with optimum use of resources of Men, Machine & Material etc. and maintain IR and implement Good Manufacturing practices and Employee Growth Plan.

2) Principal Accountabilities:

Responsibility Supporting Activities : 

- Productivity / Plant Operation - Strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations.

- Responsible for improving product quality, cost and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimising production levels and driving operational excellence

- Ensure optimum productivity / output of production as agreed with Management

- Strive for zero level rejection and ensure all regrind material is used in production.

- Control all Commercial operations Covering Stores and Purchase and that appropriate inventories are maintained

- Implement Quality Management System as per customers- requirements and business needs.

- Share all productivity initiatives successfully implemented at the plant with all other plants and interact with other plants for all initiatives harvested by them.

- Ensure Dispatches take place as per customer orders and defined OTIF.

- Ensure and Responsible production and performance reports

- Facilitates the development of individual pillars, sets benchmarks and tracks completion of pillar goals, including participation in pillar meetings, team meetings and activities.

- Provides updated information monthly to regional Manufacturing Excellence team regarding progress of WCM.

- Monitor third party business and suppliers to ensure that they are efficiently and effectively providing the needed services and supplies while staying within agreed budget.

- Manpower/ Cost Management - Ensure expenses as per the agreed Budget.

- Control and minimize labor overtime, freight and repair expenses.

- Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries

- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards

- Develop and manage master production schedule and operations budgets for products to directly support and ensure that the product is delivered to agreed cost, quality and timelines

- EHS - Ensure Zero accident culture in the plant for all resources i.e. Man, Machine and Material.

- Holds the responsibility of implementing new techniques/ Methods i.e. HIRA, OSHAS etc.

- Ensure that emergency as well as health and safety equipment is tested and replenished on a regular basis

- MOE - Implement - Manufacturing excellence initiative - e.g. Kaizen, SPC/SQC, TPM, Autonomous Maintenance., Poka- Yoke, and Lean Manufacturing etc

- Ensure 5 S and Visual Control System in work area

- Promote innovation culture in product and process.
