Production operations - Day to Day Production activity to meet Production Plan and Production requirement. - To maintain Daily Production Record (DPR). - Directing & instructing production team; monitoring expenses with optimum utilization of resources. - Inventory and WIP control (Daily, Weekly & Monthly) & prepare reports for shortages to avoid any delay in Production activities. - Material wise daily Rejection Analysis. - Planning operation - Prepare the planning sheet for Current Month on the basis of forecast of the previous month. - Receive the complaint for the executed order and sort out the same. - Co-ordinate with Purchase and Store Dept. For material follow up. - Maintaining the Store stock as per ABC analysis. - Close look on the Order and execute then on the FIFO basis. - Calculation of Man power planning for new products and time calculation for process in production. - Quality Compliance/ Process Enhancement - Implementing systems to comply with quality standards. - Identifying scope for Planning, implementing & monitoring of technological changes to enhance efficiency. - Modifications in pieces of equipment, process flow, working practices, consumables etc. for controlling & reducing conversion cost. - Man Management - Directing, leading and motivating workforce; imparting continuous on the job training for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness/ efficiency. - Working on succession planning of the workforce, rendering technical guidance to the staff, shift management activities, appraising the member's performance & providing feedback.
