Plant Head - Operations - Chemicals - IIT/NIT/BITS

SGM ( Works ) - OCCL, Location - Gujarat

B.E / B.Tech - Chemical Engineer from one of the premier institutes, preferably NITs.

Age - 45 - 50 years.

CTC - 35 to 40 lacs pa.

Industry segment - Bulk Chemicals / Speciality Chemicals / Bulk Pharma .

Experience profile - Currently should be at the level of GM, heading Operations / Works for a medium size facility (150 people, 100Cr turn over).

1. Proficient in Unit Operations and must have moved up the ladder from level of production Engineer, Production Manager, and Head - Production.

2. Proficient in handling large work force, being involved in Unit's IR / HR endeavour. Must have working knowledge of statutes viz Pollution Control Board, Hazardous Chemicals, Explosive licensing, basic Factory regulations.

3. Working knowledge in Projects / Technical function / Maintenance/ HR-admin / out bound logistics / purchase is must.

4. Have lead shop floor activities of mass engagement viz Kaizen, 5S, EHS. Has worked in industry which has been through- international certification processes viz ISO, OSHAS, EMS, TS-16949 etc.

The responsibility of Senior GM (W) is that of overall site in charge, where by some of the functions are on matrix reporting.

The position reports into President (Ops).
