Having a role for PLANT HEAD for a reputed manufacturing MNC for GOA MANUFACTURING UNIT.

Responsibilities :

- Will Direct plant activities with answerability for strategic utilization of available resources & machinery; implementing cost saving measures to achieve reduction in terms of man-days & production cost

- Should be Highly skilled in plant management with key focus on top line & bottom line profitability by monitoring the overall functioning of production processes, identifying improvement areas and implementing adequate measures to maximize customer satisfaction level

- Will Lead all phases of plant operations including design & development, production planning, production, budgeting, quality control, maintenance, finishing and dispatch

- Should be a keen organiser with proficiency in enhancing the quality process operations, optimizing resource utilization, enhancing operational efficiencies & ensuring continuous process improvements

- Should be strong in reviewing Plant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & providing necessary support for Job Safety Analysis (JSA) /Risk Assessment; spearheading EHS and statutory compliance

- Will manage multi-disciplinary team of Production Optimization, Maintenance Group and Production Services (budget, cost control & reporting) in order to reach production targets and facilities uptime by prioritizing Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) aspects

- Will be responsible for determining and monitoring the overall resource capacity (personnel and equipment) for the factory and set priorities to maintain production expectations

- Will recruiting team members and mentor & monitor the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and meeting of production targets

- Should Ensure that manpower is updated and trained and motivated so that the projects can be accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner

- Should Minimize unplanned downtime, identifying opportunities for improvement; reviewing the operation of systems constantly, executing projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs

- Must be an expert in planning, organising, staffing, directing & controlling various projects as an overall general lead point; creating vision for objective and translating ideas into clear & actionable business requirements & recommendations

- Must have Experience in Problem-solving Root Cause Analysis; devising significant solutions and implementing health, environment & safety system improvements for maintaining sound environmental safety conditions

- Should have expertise in meeting business units objectives and goals, formulating and implementing the operational SOPs with emphasis on safe, reliable and system performance and efficient operation of the plants
