Plant Head - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities :

- To lead the production, planning and maintenance at plant

- Operate as a profit center Head

- Achieving the production targets

- On time delivery of finished goods to the customers

- Optimum utilization of men, machinery & utilities.

- Driving savings plan & productivity improvements through Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing Excellence Tools.

- To maintain inventory & timely procurement of material for production

- Implementation and monitoring Quality Management Systems

- Supervision of the entire plant and ensures labour welfare activities in the plant.

- Implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environment

- Plant improvement plan, implement 5S & Kaizen

- Facilitate project implementation

Key Result Areas :

- Capacity Utilisation

- Overall equipment efficiency

- Labour cost per unit

- Ensure Down timeand optimize plant availability factor

- Quality and timely delivery of products

Educational Qualifications : BE/BTech - Chemical Engineering and throughout first class in academics

Years of Experience (minimum & maximum) : Min. 20 years

Knowledge & Skills (Indicate which criteria are mandatory) :

- In-depth technical knowledge of the Plant processes

- Leadership skills to motivate employees and keep operations running smoothly

- Problem solving skills to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it

- Time management to meet production deadlines and shipment to the customers

- Technical and Analytic skill

- Ability to exercise strict budgetary cost control system on SAP platform

- Techno commercial skills

- Negotiation skills
