Designation - Plant Head - Manager/Sr. Manager - Production - German Textile MNC Reports To: Managing Director Experience - 10 years + (mechanical/textile machine building industry Location: Ahmedabad - Gujarat EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / preferably in Textile with Management Qualification or MBA Job Duties: Oversee all daily operations of the plant from Material Inwarding, Operations and Logistics as well as ensuring plant policies and procedures are followed. To develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. Commit to plant safety procedures, statutory rules &amp; regulation and legal laws for proper functioning of Plant Major Responsibilities: - Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations mainly assembly and Logistics to exceed our customer's expectations - Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining global quality standards and safety standards. Constantly and continuously monitor and improving processes - Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping - Implement strategies in alignment with global strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus - Commit to plant safety procedures, statutory rules &amp; regulation and legal laws for proper functioning of Plant - Ensure quality management global standards concerning products and services as sustainable processes supported by traceable documentation - Improve performance of machines and drivers regarding quality timelines, budget and performance per employee - Implementing quality check-standards and processes for incoming parts and in line production - Supervising local sourcing program by ensuring continuous and sustainable quality - Heading local operation team and supporting functions - including training/qualification programs. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup/departments and recruit, manage and develop plant staff - Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets - Address employees- issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements - Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts Qualifications / Skill sets: - Proven work experience as Heading/Managing the Plant. Prior experience in leading/managing operations (especially Assembly, Planning and Logistics) with a European organisation or a multinational company is desired - Proven managerial experience &amp; success concerning process improvement and lean management skills - Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, Sourcing, resource allocation and human resources) - Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise - Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes - Ability to create accountability and to lead by example - Self-motivated professional with systematic work style and pro-active approach toward work - Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering / preferably in Textile with Management Qualification or MBA with not less than 10 years of experience preferably in the field of mechanical/textile machine building industry - Excellent English oral and written communication skills with ability to connect with customers, internal/external stakeholders, service providers and co-workers at all management levels - Knowledge of Hindi / local regional language is essential - Computer savvy with required proficiency in IT, SAP, MS Office applications to create reports, documentation - as defined by the management If Interested kindly provide CV and below details Total Experience: Current CTC Fixed: Performance Variable: Expected CTC: Notice Period: Reason for change: Reporting to : Mahesh Chougule HR cell:- 9833315856 Transcend HR Solutions
