The purpose of the Plant Head is to lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of the plant to achieve the financial and operating objectives set by the organization. The Plant head is responsible for activities starting from the orders received until the deliveries of the products (made internally and externally) to the Front line. He should also be responsible for Life Cycle Management of the Product. - Establish a clear direction for all the activities (in the factory) in line with the Company's Supply Operation strategy - To create constructive relationships with Front Line and to contribute to ensure the continuous improvement of the business - Set and monitor the performance of the Factory against, standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, human resource management, New Product Development and Design and Product change management - Establish the Operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards - Plan/Allocate labour and capital resources to maximize productivity - Strong Sourcing network and establish a balanced Insource/Outsource Strategy - Evaluate, and recommend investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant's production capabilities.
