Plant Head - Industrial Gas Bottling

We are Antal International, a senior level recruitment firm; currently hiring Plant Head- Industrial Gas Bottling; Faridabad for a Global MNC.

Mission Statement :

- He (She) is responsible for safe, reliable and efficient operation, while focusing on utmost care to health, safety & environment, at facility level.

- His (Her) main role consists to drive operations of facility by adhering to high standard of safety norms, applicable regulatory compliance's, and ensuring implementation of applicable Group's IMS requirements.

- He (She) is responsible for ensuring the preparation & implementation of production plans aligned with organizational priorities, as well as pro-active planned maintenance to raise plant's reliability to Group's standards.

- To report & investigate all safety & reliability incidents at facility; & to lead the bench for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigation & action plans are among core tasks of his (her) responsibilities.

- Maintaining organizational discipline, developing local competencies, training & qualification of Production & Maintenance teams are key components of his (her) function.

- He (She) reports to Primary Plants Operations Manager and is member of Operational Technical Committee. As such, he (she) supports PP Operations Manager to control operations cost & to increase plant's availability, efficiency & hence profitability.

His/her main contribution and accountability will be :

- Timely and effective implementation of Group Safety guidelines (in particular LSR) in his (her) facility.

- Timely compliance with local statutory regulations for his (her) facility. Follow up with statutory authorities for permits renewal and updation.

- Timely and effective implementation of IMS requirements in his (her) facility.

- Facilitate timely implementation of planned maintenance schedules within his (her) facility.

- Set up & timely implementation of standard procedures (SOPs, WIs etc.) for reliable & efficient plant operation & maintenance.

- Monitoring of daily production activities. Ensuring deployment of production schedules in line with PvD forum.

- Reporting & investigation of all safety & reliability incidents of facility. Execution of the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations & effective implementation of corrective action plans.

- Adherence to Management of Change (MOC) process thoroughly for any required changes at Facility.

- Timely reporting of facility performance & Industrial reporting as per Company Procedures.

- Monitoring of purchase of energy in coordination with Energy Manager.

- Planning & ensuring timely purchase of required goods & services for Facilities- Production & Maintenance requirements in coordination with company's Procurement team (GWSR Process).

- Set up & timely implementation of training & qualification programs for his (her) teams. Development of competencies & necessary skills of employees at his (her) facility, as per operations requirement.

- To foster value extraction of the manpower and assets within among his (her) facility.

- Monitoring and optimization of operating costs to achieve his (her) facilities- operational targets.

- Adherence to quality specifications as per HSE & contractual obligations of company.

- Timely implementation of Company policies applicable to his (her) facility.

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise :

- 5 years min. experience in managing productions plants.

- Working understanding of process & technology used in facility.

- Process oriented, planning and organizing skills, people management and decision making skills.

- Good communication skills and fluency in English (oral and written).

- Technical degree or Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
