About our Client - Our client is a pharmaceutical company and they are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in handling a plant. This is not an IR role. The role will be based out of Vishakhapatnam and would essentially require a Telegu speaking candidate.
Job Description: Reporting into the HR Head you will be responsible for :
- Managing the end to end HR function for the plant based out of Vishakhapatnam
- Bringing forth innovative HR practices in the day to day functioning of the plant and bringing in the structure of self managed teams
- Managing the career planning and development plans for a staff span of more than 200 people (excluding blue collar workers)
- Be the interface between the employees and the management with focus on helping solve work related problems, interpreting policies
- Identifying the training needs of existing employees and conducting need based training
- Managing retention of employees, employee morale and commitment
The Successful Candidate: As a successful candidate you should have :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as HR generalist in manufacturing sector. This is not an IR role.
- Strong experience in modern HR practices like 'self managed teams' and 'high performance framework'
- Exposure to Kaizen and 5S is an absolute must have
- Telugu speaking is a must - Good communication and leadership skills -
- Quick learner and a high energy individual
