About our Client - Our client is one of the leading chemical manufacturing companies with global presence. Based out of Gujarat they are looking for a seasoned Plant HR (Generalist ) to be based out of their plant and manage the plant function end to end.

Job Description - Reporting into the HR Head you will be responsible for:

- Managing the end to end HR function for the plant) based out of Gujarat

- Bringing forth innovative HR practices in the day to day functioning of the plant and bringing in the structure of 'self managed teams'

- Managing the career planning and development plans for a staff span of more than 1000 people

- Be the interface between the employees and the management with focus on helping solve work related problems, interpreting policies

- Identifying the training needs of existing employees and conducting need based training

- Managing retention of employees, employee morale and commitment

The Successful Candidate : As a successful candidate you should have:

- 10-12 years of experience as HR generalist in manufacturing sector.

- This is not an IR role

- Strong experience in modern HR practices like 'self managed teams' and 'high performance framework'

- Experience of working in a plant and handling a large employee base

- Good communication and leadership skills

- Quick learner and a high energy individual
