Plant Head - Healthcare/Pharma

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing many of the day-to-day operations of a chemical production plant.

- Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs of all material handling systems and equipment to minimize downtime.

- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

- Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are being met by supporting and participating in regular Health & Safety meetings.

- Ensure the efficient processing of incoming materials while maintaining end product quality standards.

- Plant Head must be able to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it, such as identifying defects in the production line.

- Plans, organizes, implements and monitors work schedules/external suppliers consistent with the normal needs of the plant and special projects.

- Must oversee personnel, production, safety and quality in chemical plants.

- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.

- Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees.

- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
