Role Name : Plant Head

Role Description :

- Responsible for providing safe work place, ensuring timely Delivery of All OEm's, SPD & MKT customers by adhering zero defect methodology, development & involvement of employees, cost control, training & motivation to employees, Co-ordination with engineering & Development team for New SOP's, and ensuring P&L of the plant.

Role purpose :

- To manage smooth & efficient functioning of Plant for growth of company as well as of employees with having Continual Improvement in all PQCDSM areas.

Responsibilities KRA (Key Result Areas) KPI (Key Performance Indicators):

Safety :

1. To monitor & implement SOP's for safety so as to build safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety norms.

2. To get educated the employees about safety via trainings, safety patrol, monthly safety meetings and other means in order to reduce the number of accidents in plant.

3. Productivity Optimum utilisation of resources like Man, /Machine & Material

4. Quality Reduction in Customer complaints & Internal rejection.

5. Customer score card, PPM target v/s actual.

6. Review of countermeasure given to customers for the quality issues.

7. Monitoring of internal rejection"

Cost :

1. To ensure Manpower Cost, Manufacturing Cost, Overhead cost etc as per budget

2. Inventory control through optimum planning & cost saving kaizen

3. Ensuring completion of CCC projects as per timeline

4.Delivery Monitoring & control of customer delivery .

5. Development Effective co-ordination with NPD team for new project . Smooth launce of new product

6. Manpower Involvement and Development


7. To monitor identified training for managers , staff & operators & check it's effectiveness


8. Competency mapping score, Training Man hours plan vs actual

Skill evaluation matrix:

Employees involvement "


1. Number of QC circles

2. Number of suggestions per employee.

3. Number of Kaizens per employee."

4. Implementation of Performance Management system. Performance Review Plan Vs Actual

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge:

1. TPM

2. New ideas for improving productivity

3. Material Planning &. New asset planning

4. Inventory control method.

5. Good knowledge of Automotive Lighting Mfg process"

15-20 Years with BE Tech Electronics

- Internal Customers Other External Parties/Vendors
