Plant Head - Auto

I. At least 5 years experience as a Production Head or Plant Head at a major OEM with revenue over INR 500 crores.

II. Experience managing a plant with 500+ employees and handling union relationships is required.

III. Successful track record implementing WCM, TPM and TQM to develop a culture of continuous improvement.

IV. Demonstrated expertise managing high volume, complex manufacturing processes and environments, including sheet metal fabrication, machining, assembly, bending, pressing, and welding. Proven leadership abilities with budget management

The role will involve overseeing all aspects of production at a state-of-the-art facility. We offer an excellent compensation package for the right individual (upto 50 lakh)

Responsibilities

- Planning and designing methods to improve manufacturing processes.

- Reviewing budgets, schedules, production requirements, and headcount.

- Developing a sustainable Safety & Quality Culture (ensuring a zero accident & quality driven mindset in employees)

- Ensuring that production schedules are on track.

- Guide production department heads & control Supervisors, Engineers & Operators.

- Drive People Development.

- Driving financial performance (tactical tasks will include budget preparation, considering business opportunities & supporting sales opportunities)

- Overseeing the implementation of key strategic projects and programmes

- Ensuring customer satisfaction and 'On Time Delivery' from the plant for all components (by defining product portfolio, lead time, driving timely response to claims and identifying ways to improve customer service)

- Acting as a role model for the organization's Values and Leadership

- Driving a strong compliance culture (by ensuring compliance with organizational norms, creating a strong local link, developing contingency strategy for business interruption)

- Responsible to meet all operation KPI,s like Safety, Delivery, Quality and Cost.

- Responsible for Capex budget preparation & on time utilization of approved Capex.

Key Skills and Competencies

- Education:- B.E. Mechanical

- Experience - 20+ yrs exp in Manufacturing Processes, Planning and handling the Production Management activities.

- Strong leadership/team management skills and experience.

- Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.

- Highly customer focused.

- Strong analytical and Problem-solving ability.

- Excellent project management skills.

- Hands-on approach, with a 'can do' attitude.

- Good IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
