- Faculty recruitment: Building an active outreach engine including every conference/ forums in key disciplines we need to be present at; advertisements; roadshows; webinars and so on. Needs to completely own and drive it. Engage with prospects and manage their entire recruitment process
- Faculty contracts: Closing faculty contracts - full-time, visiting, adjunct, sabbatical, advisors
- Relocation and family support: Single point of contact to full-time faculty to help in relocation and helping them settle in. May include all kinds of family support including for spouse, kids etc.
- Visiting faculty POC: Enabling their overall experience across logistics, invoices and payments, integration into environment, entertainment, family support etc.
- Onboarding: Creating and executing a unique academic onboarding process that helps new joiners understand our academic culture/ what we stand for. Work with them on their academic and tech set-up, including support with research grant process etc; so they hit the ground running.
- Engagement: Organizing faculty get-togethers, entertainment, retreats, welcome events for new joiners etc.
- Faculty career development: Ownership of the faculty mentorship process, mini-sabbaticals and executing new initiatives to support faculty career development
- Promotion and tenure: Maintaining faculty dossiers and records; and assisting in managing promotion and tenure processes
- Day-to-day support to faculty and debottlenecking issues by working with other teams as needed
