The company runs the largest organised tea retail chain in the country with an omni channel presence. Founded by an ex-havard graduate and other premier institute graduates, the company is heavily investing in building technology to rocket its accessibility and convenience goals for the brand. It has been in existance for 5 years now and currently employs more than 750 people across Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and is planning an international expansion also soon. It has already raised $12 million in funds which it has used to invest in a lot of technology to differentiate itself and enhance the customer convenience.
The company is currently looking for people who will join an an entreprenur in residence and will be on a fast track leadership program. After a 3 months stint at the head office, you will be given independent charge of a territory with a P&L responsibility. This is a great opportunity if you are seeking to work in a dynamic fast growing company in a high growth role and P&L responsibility.
The role includes :
- Lead & execute the overall strategy, corporate development and venture growth.
- Manage and cultivate substantial and influential relationships with functional heads, BU Heads and investors.
- Set and drive key business initiatives across the company
- Assignments will include a mix of various projects to be completed within specified timelines.
- Be a visionary with a demonstrated ability to envision the end solution and architect the actions necessary achieve that solution.
- As a member of the core team you will participate in most of the decisions and are expected to add great value
Ideal Candidate :
- Extremely strong organizational skills, with the desire to work in an environment of rapid growth
- Self driven go-getter who is able to match the energy levels of the passionate leadership team of the company
- Prior experience of P&L Management and team handling
- An ability to think ahead of the curve in terms of market scanning and business development
- Operations background will be an added advantage
- Working against very strict deadlines
- Leading the sales force and sales engine in the retail stores from the front
Location: Bangalore with relocation as per business need
