Purpose of Job :

- Responsible for underwriting and credit operations within the region

- Maintain the portfolio quality

- Provide feedback for risk management and process improvements

- Reports into National Credit Manager

- Regional Credit Managers

Essential Qualifications :

Chartered Accountant/MBA-Finance

Essential Experience :

- 10-15 years of experience in HFC

Key Roles/Responsibilities :

- Responsible for Credit & Risk appraisal of LAP and Home loan applications for South India

- Appraising deviations basis mitigants, relationship, local market knowledge, etc.

- Training team about changing regulatory and compliance norms.

- Proper Due diligence.

- Meeting customers to understand their needs and structure a proposal which fulfills both customer and organization policies

- Using different avenues to get the customer information while underwriting

- Recommending, presenting and getting proposals/cases approved at various credit committees

- Interacting various vendors to ensure best practices are followed and gaps (if any) are plugged

- Responsible for UAT and implementation of all system/process changes

- Closely tracking of delinquent customers to ensure these remain in lowest bucket and learnings from these are implemented for future cases

- Handling a team of people (ACM, CM, and CPAs) across the south. Ensure the team is motivated and their recruitment and training needs are taken care of

- Managing Post Disbursal Documents

- Annual review of all high ticket cases after disbursement
