- 2 - 4 years of experience in the corporate strategy or in Design or Construction ; a very good understanding of cost and efficiency drivers of a Real Estate company will be preferred
Essential Qualifications: Design or Civil Engineering background with MBA in Finance, Marketing or Strategy from a Tier 1 B-School (IIMs/ ISB/ JBIMS/ XLRI/ SPJIMR etc.)
- This is an opportunity to define and implement the strategy and drive operational excellence for a fast growing, customer-focused organization and work with some of the best resources (both internally and externally) in the industry. It involves pure strategic thinking as well as realizing the impact through actual implementation.
- The role is a very hands-on role and provides direct exposure and visibility to the senior leadership of the organization as well as the Group.
Key role expectations are:
- Track and identify market-shaping trends in the Real Estate and consumer goods space that have an impact on the business
- Identify key strategic initiatives to be implemented in the organization to drive growth and profitability as well as create differentiation
- Independently drive roll-out and implementation of 2-3 key initiatives at any point of time. These could be in the nature of digitization, driving growth, managing costs, improving processes and so on.
- Evaluate the business plans and ensure adherence to key financial objectives of PBT, NPV, IRR etc. over the life cycle and during specific periods.
- Facilitate periodic review of the projects to ensure that risks are flagged upfront and mitigation plans are put into place.
- Explore avenues of improving returns from the projects through analysis of the competition, pricing, sales velocities, project design and costing, cash flow management, financing, and other levers.
- Prepare the business analysis and scenarios and work with the project team to drive the recommendations and their implementation.
- Define processes towards preparation of annual operating plan.
- Define project dashboards to capture the key performance indicators and review of actual performance (QlikSense etc.).
- Provide support for creation of presentations for Chairman and Investors meeting.
