2 Responsible for accounting of the entity in which the project is housed, including interaction with statutory, tax and internal auditors

3 Preparation of quarterly and Annual Statutory audit financials

4 Perform proper month close activities and circulate monthly MIS pack and schedules

5 Review of all contract and ensure compliance of terms & conditions. Responsible for making project payments to contractors and suppliers, ensuring that they are paid on time and as per the agreements in place.

6 Ensuring budgetary control and adherence to the processes laid down

7 Serve as an advisor to the project team on accounting and taxation matters (with guidance from his seniors)

8 Responsible for ensuring statutory compliances with respect to TDS, GST payments in his area of work - with respect to payment of the taxes as per due date and filing of returns/forms and assessment.

9 Proving timely information to management

10 Effective review and supervision of all routine activities done by Project Accountant

Necessary experience: Relevant experience in Real Estate Industry, must have worked in/exposed to the big four audit firms, post qualification experience of 4 to 6 years. SAP Knowledge.

Technical / Functional Competencies

1 To be updated with latest Real Estate Guidelines on Accounting and Taxation so as to develop technical knowledge on the business of the organization.

2 Should have handled Accounts Dept for Mid / Large size organisation with multiple locations

3 Experienced in accounting, budgeting and cost control principles and automated financial reporting systems

4 Extensive experience within a Ind AS, corporate accounting standards and audits

5 Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices and reporting of financial data

6 Should have knowledge of tax accounting practices and legal & statutory
