Description - Good exposure on tax compliances, finalizing tax returns, tax audits, transfer pricing audits, computation of advance tax, TDS related matters

- Finalizing tax computation under normal tax provisions as well as under MAT to comply with ICDS and IND AS

- Finalizing periodic (quarterly/yearly) Current Tax Provision/ Deferred Tax workings with Statutory Auditors, tax status and contingent liability

- Updating and advising various locations on statutory amendments and applicability of various tax provisions relating to personal tax, TDS, corporate tax and DTAA

- Representation before Income tax authorities independently for scrutiny assessment / rectification applications / order giving effects / obtaining refunds / other follow ups

- Exposure on obtaining tax exemption u/s. 12A for trust and assessment and other tax compliances for trust

- Attend appeal hearings before the Commissioner(Appeals) along with the tax consultants and liaise with the tax consultants / Counsels for appeals before the ITAT / High Court

- Co-ordinating with Finance / accounts department for various matters / data collation

- Good experience on delivering a full range of direct tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within a specific timeframe.

- Good litigation management skills, developing tax strategy along with senior tax team members of the company, tax consultants and tax counsels

- Thorough understanding of corporate income tax compliances

- Broad understanding of transfer pricing matters

- Proven ability to lead multiple tasks effectively

- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and drafting skills

- Proactive and self-driven

- Analytical ability to continuously identify improvement opportunities on the taxation front both internally and externally

- Strong history of tax accounting delivery

- Experience of working in a team and developing junior staff

- Strong relationship development and management skills

- Experience working with large, complex companies
