Job Description :
- Generate insights on company's performance and benchmarking with competition to identify areas of competitive advantage, gaps and opportunities for the business
- Leverage a variety of external databases (ie, IQVIA, Cortellis, Newport, Biotechgate) and internal data sources (Salesforce.com) to extract and analyze relevant data
- Identify new business segments (product/service/region), acquisition targets and new customers through varied approaches
- Analyze clinical pipelines of existing and prospective customers
- Provide evaluation on M&A Deals, leveraging existing capabilities and adding new capacities/technologies, determine feasibility and business potential
- Study strategic areas for growth and develop market analysis for leadership team and business unit decision-making
- Prepare and share monthly review of order bookings, RFP lost analysis and business projections
- Build competitor analysis by studying their financials, strategies, investments, M&As, product portfolios, and circulate monthly whitepaper for competitor updates
- Design Custom presentation decks for customer meetings/site visits, case-specific deck on unique technologies, businesses apart from corporate/ business/ site presentations and their regular updates
- Build content on marketing collaterals such as press releases, newsletters, magazine articles, interviews, case studies, webinars, tradeshows (booth design, brochures, posters, flyers etc.)
SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
The role is part of the global strategic marketing function that serves as the center of market intelligence for the business. This role will support the leadership and BD team to strengthen relationships with key customers and achieve order book targets through cutting edge market research, business intelligence and high quality customer insights

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reports to Head - Strategic Marketing
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline( Pharmacy/Biotechnology or related) MBA from a leading Business School(strongly preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred experience of 5-8 years in a strategic marketing /business consulting/ market intelligence role preferably in the life sciences/pharma sector
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to leverage both primary and secondary research
- Expert level Office application knowledge (MS Power Point and MS Excel )
- Superior project management skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams to establish deliverables, timelines and hold self and others to a quality, on-time delivery
- Ability to establish and maintain key relationships with external and internal business leaders
- Demonstrated ability draw insights from large data sets
