Job Description - Job Purpose
The Corporate Communications Manager will work with the Head - Corporate Communications to deliver on external and internal communications campaigns. In addition to various organization-wide employee communications programs and events that aim to maximize employee engagement and productivity, the individual will also plan and roll out external communication campaigns; create high-quality content for newsletters, mailers, intranets, bulletins, website, various events, etc. and work with various stakeholders across the businesses to ensure that communications are delivered on time.
External Communication :
- Corporate Reputation: Managing and build the corporate reputation of the company and its businesses.
- Strategy Execution: Play a key role in executing the PR strategy for company/brand/business / initiative.
- Point of Contact: Work closely with the PR agency and internal stakeholders such as business teams, Admin, HR etc.
- Processes: Ensure adherence to processes / SOP for every communication.
- Media Relations: To build relationships with key media across all sectors
Internal communications :
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, developing and delivering a simple coordinated process in order to provide effective cohesive communications campaign.
- Manage company-wide coordination and alignment of internal messaging; collaborate with leaders/functions/businesses to ensure alignment, integration and coordinated messaging and timing of communications
- Deliver regular communications for all staff through a range of channels, ensuring ease of access to communications, clarity, and consistency of message;
- Experience in handling events and dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with the web team to continually develop the intranet/ social media as an effective internal communications tool and to ensure it meets the needs of its audience.
- Own, develop and manage calendars of key messages to ensure consistent, relevant and timely delivery of internal communication material.
- Understanding of internal communication tools and techniques and how these can best be used within the company.
- Write and edit copy for various print and online platforms including mailers, newsletters, brochures, posters, portals, websites, social media, etc.
Qualifications :
- Graduate/Post-Graduate in arts/mass communications/journalism
- 4-8 years of relevant and proven experience
Skills Required:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Excellent interpersonal & Analytical skills
- Ability to think creatively and work with minimal supervision
- Exposure to high-level stakeholder interaction and management
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of effective communications media and methods - including print, online platforms, and social media
- Knowledge related to execution and delivery of communication, stories, and content through various offline and online channels
- Proactive, collaborative and results driven
- Positive attitude with a desire to learn and bring meaningful change in organizational culture
