Purpose of the role : The incumbent would be accountable for delivering overall employee life cycle experience, business priorities and people agenda for the sales verticals. This role implements all talent calibration and management processes, ensures consistency in HR policy and practices. It has direct-line oversight of all HR matters for the sales organisation. Essential Experience : a) 7 to 10 years of experience in an executive-level Human Resources role for a publicly-held, global, high-growth, high-performance company. b) Minimum of 3+ years of experience successfully managing people. c) Candidate must demonstrate sound judgment and integrity. d) Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry / OTC business is highly desired, with particular emphasis on high-growth e) Must be an excellent communicator : both written and verbal. This includes an ability to communicate HR programs in a way that provides teams with context and rationale. f) Should have well developed coaching, communication, and leadership skills. g) Candidate must have the ability to think both strategically about Intercept's - big picture- business and dive into the details of day-to-day execution. Key Roles/Responsibilities : a) Own Talent identification, development and engagement process for 10% high potential talent. b) Oversee Talent acquisition process for managerial hiring, lead negotiation on compensation offer. Devise strategies to reduce TAT, improve source mix, and ensure diversity hiring. c) Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets; d) Creation/maintenance of a high performance culture of accountability and result-orientation, linking organizational and employee performance; Leverage online performance management tools and cascade Piramal Success Factors to ensure values and behaviors are commonly understood and practiced. e) Establishing and strengthening employee engagement and commitment; carry annual surveys f) Establish credibility for the Human Resources function throughout the organization with management and the employees; g) Maintain an overall knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws and issues. h) Evaluate, enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce human resources policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. In particular, manage and maintain the human resource information systems (HRIS) database and necessary reports for critical analyses of the HR function and the people resources of the corporation; Leverage central HRMS CMOE for enabling HR processes.
