About the job:

Purpose:

Lead the COE for Talent Management & Leadership Development to provide strategic direction for creating future leaders as well as to align our leadership team on our values, purpose, future competencies that can enable business success. Uphold our legacy best practices in talent management that have helped us identify hipots, invest in their development plans and develop home grown leaders.

The role will drive the following:

- Shape the Leadership Academy as a part of Piramal Learning University, our umbrella brand for learning across the Piramal Group by creating an ecosystem of learning that caters to business needs and drives individual excellence.

- Serve our select units in align learning needs for short and long term to enable business success. Build requisite structure and team to support learning agenda across these businesses. Drive synergies to create One Piramal Enterprises Learning system across the board.

- Set up processes and systems for functional / technical capability building via the Functional Academies, as a part of the Piramal Learning University for the Partner Functions Unit.

- Drive a learning culture across the Piramal Group by influencing and working closely with senior leaders and line managers and devising the requisite systems and processes

- Leverage cutting edge technology to deliver effective and efficient learning solutions at scale and on-demand (including introduction of mobile and social learning capabilities) across the Piramal Group through the PLU Virtual Campus

- Lead the talent review process across PEL to constantly debate on succession plans, team compositions and role movements, hipot inventory of talent and compare against business requirements. Work with the HR Heads, the Talent Acquisition CmoE and the other CmoEs to build the required talent pipeline, create succession plans for key roles.

- Oversee the execution of our signature high potential identification and development programs across levels IGNITE (junior management), ASCEND (mid management) and SUMMIT (senior management) and manage the engagement / retention of key talent from these programs

- Lead the development and delivery of coaching and mentoring capability within Piramal.

- As a key member of the senior HR leadership team, contribute to shaping the HR strategy to ensure close alignment to Piramal Groups priorities through strong collaboration and effective team working. Input into total rewards, talent agenda, HR digitization agenda, diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

- PG or MBA (HR) / PMIR / MMS from top B Schools

- Experience of influencing across a complex matrixed organization, including cross-cultural experience

- Strong functional expertise in L&D and Talent Management, including familiarity with cutting edge learning technology

- Experience of leading cultural change and transformation across the organization

- Demonstrable experience of thought leadership in the learning and talent areas

Ideal Candidate:

- MBA from top business schools with minimum 10 years of experience

- Experience from Consulting background, Strategy offices, Centers of Excellence or a BHR who has led transformation would be an advantage.
