Key Responsibilities: The Program Director will
- Collect and report data to measure the programme's performance against the organisation's KPIs.
- Analyse student assessment/test data.
- Research trends in instructional methods and pedagogy.
- Review and recommend other educational materials and alternative teaching learning aids.
- Observe work of teaching staff to evaluate performance.
- Develop procedures for teachers to implement curriculum.
- Train stakeholders - teachers, administrators etc and other instructional staff in new content or technology
- Mentor or coach teachers in skill improvement.
- Plan, organize and conduct training conferences and workshops.
- Develop and institutionalize a safe environment (physically & emotionally) for both the children and staff and stakeholders.
- Lead and deliver courses to community / Parents as extended stakeholders on select windows.
- Continually research best practice in physical/ Digital specialization and education and make recommendations to management on the continual improvement of the product/programs.
Product development stages and its understanding:
- Design innovative 21st Century skills-based frameworks to support future ready children.
- Develop curriculums and other need-based intervention products.
- Conceptualise products that needs to be delivered to support the operations team.
- Develop assessment tools and associated products as part of the assessment package.
Collaboration for product development - internal and external stakeholders/organisations - National/ International:
- Collaborate with other central teams, operations, support functions, etc. for need identification, co creation of products, implementation, facilitation support, etc.
- Facilitate discussions and meetings with operations team on understanding need and executing products in field.
- Contribute to developing quarterly reports for donors.
- Develop reports for CEO and senior management.
Reporting and support within the organization:
- Support senior leadership and peers in projects incubation, prototyping, designing, and piloting.
- Support in facilitating capacity development sessions, orientations, etc.
- Create processes to ensure team growth by goal setting and calibrating expectations.
