Job Description - Key Roles/ Primary Responsibilities:


Strategy Development:

- Partners with Group CIO & Senior IT leaders to lead the Enterprise Architect strategy and execution for the enterprise

- Provides vision & strategy, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company's requirements and expectations.


- Own, manage and implement projects that support the development of the our Enterprise Architect strategy


Stakeholder Management:


- Management Enterprise Architect leading to Service Oriented Architecture, While manage the relationship, the role covers accountability for all escalations and also continues improvement for all services.

- Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners


Budget:


- Budget accountability for all Enterprise Architect budgets.

- Identifying proactive opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.


Enterprise Architect:


- To define the IT architecture standards, policies and frameworks

- Enabling enterprises to grow, transform by adopting technology solutions by facilitate change in a way that maximizes its value by aligning to business strategy.


- Come up with the blueprint for the application architecture, information architecture, infrastructure architecture for the enterprise


- Will define and build the generic services around Single Sign on, Security, Monitoring, Alerts, Notifications, Source Code Management, tools etc.


- Focus on hand holding the solution architect for PFL by validating the future state, participating with their teams and being involved in governance activities to ensure adherence


- Extensive experience in working with enterprises in the Banking, Financial Services, Securities, Insurance, Manufacturing, Communications and eCommerce verticals


- Experience of transitioning organizations from On-Premise to Cloud based architectures


Desired Technical Competencies:


- The TOGAF Architecture Skills Framework attempts to address this need by providing definitions of the architecting skills and proficiency levels required of personnel, internal or external, who are to perform the various architecting roles defined within the TOGAF Framework.

- Generic Skills: - typically comprising leadership, team working, inter-personal skills, etc.


- Business Skills and Methods: - typically comprising business cases, business process, strategic planning, etc.


- Enterprise Architecture Skills: - typically comprising modeling, building block design, applications and role design, systems integration, etc.


- Program or Project Management Skills: - typically comprising managing business change, project management methods and tools, etc.


- IT General Knowledge Skills: - typically comprising brokering applications, asset management, migration planning, SLAs, etc.


- Technical IT Skills: - typically comprising software engineering, security, data interchange, data management, etc.


- Legal Environment: - typically comprising data protection laws, contract law, procurement law, fraud, etc.


- Post Graduate Degree qualification in IT-related discipline and/or significant experience in a similar role

- Extensive experience in a managerial role within an IT or related field, including experience of managing Enterprise Architecture with a geographically dispersed team


- Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience


- Ten or more years of experience in business information solution & technical architecture in a multitier environment including open source technology


- Five or more years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis
