Job Description

- To lead IT Procurement for PEL corporate and group level which includes sub categories like Software, AMCs & leasing spend, Hardware, Licenses, Subscriptions.

- Define procurement policies & strategies for the category & sub categories.

- Conduct spend analytics and develop strategic sourcing to create value.

- Provide subject matter expertise in sourcing and contract negotiation, including the identification of new sources and programs.

- Procuring products & services at optimum cost ensuring timely planning and execution.

- Implementing category level strategies at the sites globally.

- Develops and maintains insights on market price movements, supply-demand scenario in the category and sub categories.

- Contract life cycle management : Engage with stakeholders to identify most suitable supply solution for a given demand. Tracking and renewal on time to ensure seamless service.

- Own all operational duty related to assigned category, Coordination with Shared Services for Vendor Creation, PO preparation, close Open PO/GR/Advance, and approve Purchase Orders in SAP, compliance and reporting.

- Organize and own E Bidding process (Revers/Forward auction) for various requirement.

- Manage bid proposals (RFX), requirements documentation (SOW), service level agreements (SLA), purchase/service agreements and other related documents.

- MIS / Budget Tracking

- Exploitation of category procurement synergies at group level.
