Piramal Capital Housing Finance - Data Scientist - Financial Modelling & Analytics

Qualification : Masters in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Business administration. CA, ICWA or Engineering graduate from a reputed college. Other graduates from reputed colleges with financial certifications such as CFA level II/III, FRM etc.

EXPERIENCE :

- Hands on experience in Analytics Tools R/Python/SQL/SAS

- Experience in financial modelling and framework DCF, NPV, RARAOC, valuation models

- Good understanding of P&L drivers such as cost, revenue streams, COF, NIM.

- Data driven business insights Data Preparation, Data Exploration, financial modelling and strategy implementation

- 4 to 8 years of experience in analytics preferably in Financial services (Retail lending) industry, but not mandatory

- Strong expertise in financial modelling

- Conversant in Python/SQL

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Enabling retail lending business to achieve growth outcomes via analytical strategy.

- Develop financial framework such as valuation models life time valuations, pricing strategy, life time valuations, pricing strategy, budgeting etc.

- Preparing product valuations for new launches

- Ability to understand business P&L components and various drivers such as COF, NIM, provisioning

- Define data requirements for creating a model and understand the business problem

- Clean, aggregate, analyze, interpret data and carry out quality analysis of it

- Set up data for predictive/prescriptive analysis

- Development of statistical/econometric models.

- Working along with the team members

- Looking for insight and creating a presentation to demonstrate these insights
