Purpose of Job:

- IT Business Analyst / Project Manager for Finance - Drive the implementation of on-going and envisaged Technology initiatives for businesses under Piramal Finance.

- Help businesses rigorously evaluate and successfully implement technology solutions in a cost-effective and time-bound manner in order to realize the targeted benefits from technology

Group CIO, CIO - FS, President - Strategy, Head - Piramal Finance Operations, Business unit CEOs, Business teams, Function heads and their teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Risk, HR) - Piramal Finance, Piramal IT Team

Essential Qualifications:

- Experience with leading technology consulting companies or financial services industry

- B.E./B.Tech., MBA or M.S. from a premier Indian or US institute (preferable)

Essential Experience:

10-12 years of experience in a top tier technology firm or financial services industry. Preferably having good exposure in the following:

- Strong experience (minimum 7-8 yrs) as a Business Analyst - IT in the Financial Services industry preferably in the Finance Retail Industry

- Implementation experience of technology initiatives (e.g. retail banking, or core system implementations, Risk Management, F&A, CRM, Mobility Solutions, Contact centre technologies)

- Experience in both technology design and implementation aspects of the retail platform in terms of LOS/ LMS, Collections, CRM etc

- Understanding of the latest technologies around SMAC, iOT, Machine Learning

- Sound knowledge of the Financial Services domain (preferably retail financial services)

- Program management skills for driving technology changes

- Strong data management fundamentals, Excel skills & basic data analytics

- Comfort in dealing with ambiguity, conflict resolution and stakeholder management capabilities

- Strong problem solving and communication skills

- Core experience in requirement gathering, testing, roll-outs and change management

- Experienced in integrating with both SAP and non-SAP application

- Training of Business Stakeholders during roll-out and ongoing support

- Dual Reporting (Corporate IT / Business) would be an added advantage

- Exposure to basic end-user support would be an added advantage

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Technology Design:

- Work closely with the CIO of Financial Services to define target technology architecture aligned with business objectives and target operations architecture for businesses under Piramal Finance.

- Assist in evaluating existing IT systems (As-is) and recommend technology solutions (To-be) based on market benchmarks / industry best practises in alignment with business growth plans or long term vision

- Work closely with multiple business teams (e.g. Sales, Credit, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Risk, Legal, Finance etc.) and the IT team to elicit and document detailed Business Requirements (BRDs) for technology and orchestrate solution implementation in-line with requirements

- Drive the complete assessment of technology solutions for business from a functional and technical perspective, and recommend solutions / options for technology-driven process improvement e.g.: "use of mobility in transaction processing

Data Management:

- Define and develop the blueprint for a central, end-to-end data model for a particular business under Piramal Finance (e.g. HFC)

- Conduct business and data analysis to help identify the data points generated along various stages of the business system, model business entities and their relationships in terms of data

- Work closely with business unit CEOs and cross-functional business teams to identify and design the key dashboards required across the business system

- Work closely with functional teams to identify key data requirements, standardize data management and develop key data templates required by different functions (e.g. Sales, Credit, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Risk, Legal, Finance etc.)

- Understand the role of data and analytics across the application and in the functioning of Monitoring and Risk Management (e.g. assessment of project cash flows, use of scorecards for evaluation etc.)

- Work closely with the Finance and Accounts, Risk and technology solution vendor(s) to help parameterize Risk criteria and associated requirements to devise a technology solution to enable end to end analytics across the retail lending solution

Implementation:

- Drive the implementation of on-going and envisaged technology projects for businesses under Piramal Capital

- Drive the in-house IT team and be responsible for project and vendor management in the required technology implementations

- Liaise with external consultants, internal stakeholders (business heads and teams) and IT team during implementation of the required technology platforms

- On an on-going basis, help evolve business requirements for technology and data/reporting, as businesses scale up or technology undergoes evolution

- Successfully engage in and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously
