Analyst

The position will report to all seniors in the SIG team and the incumbent will be primarily responsible for :

- Providing backup data, analysis, industry comparable, market intelligence to assist in deal origination, sourcing and negotiation, including macro /micro analysis to identify investment themes

- Developing financial models so as to enable the SIG team to assess the investment. The model should be built in manner such that it performs error free analysis after factoring all key assumptions emanating from the financial, commercial and legal due diligence and is flexible enough to factor in various scenario analysis both from cash flow and valuation perspective

- Work with the team is preparing internal documentation to seek approvals for investments

- Obtains regular MIS; analyze actual performance and re-forecasted data and compares with plan, with reasons for variance
