The Pinkvilla team is looking for a talented, smart, experienced and entrepreneurial Product Manager (to help us deliver a world-class product in the content space. You will be working on an exciting new product that will change the way we discover communities and drive meaningful engagements online. You will be joining a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. This role will have end-to-end ownership of digital products at Pinkvilla spread across app & web. You will be responsible to not only create the Product Strategy but also help build the multiple prototypes and beta-versions of existing and future products and work closely with the internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the entire Product Lifecycle management right from conceptualization, ideation, strategy, execution & then ensuring that the Product being delivered is a bug free Product. We expect the Product Manager to be a passionate customer advocate with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, extreme attention to detail, online/mobile technology understanding, social media marketing skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. Based in: Mumbai What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities) - Act as the business owner for our products, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business - Lead a team of APM and provide thought leadership and guidance. - Develop a detailed understanding of the product development and go-to-market strategy forthe business, as well as the factors that drive success within each segment of our business - Have a thorough understanding of the content and social media industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments . - Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential - Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and more. - Provide content and thought leadership to engineering and technology teams to help render the product - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting deadlines. Who could you be? Background and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar technical field preferably from prestigious institutions - 6+ years of product management experience developing and launching products within the digital ecosystem - 5+ years of experience in the content space with exposure to social media trends, online marketing and brand building - Experience managing multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation - Ability to develop & drive business strategy - Multiple successful launches of V1 products in a rapid growth environment - Hands on experience working in an Agile environment with a short iteration cadence - Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
