PillarPlus is a core MEP design and BIM consultancy firm. Our MEP consultants use artificial intelligence to create drawings automatically to prevent delays & errors.

Job Responsibilities:

- Understand project requirements and send out proposals, quotations and manage negotiations

- Review plans and specifications according to the project

- Handle client discussions - Coordinate with architects, engineers for the project

- Supervise the preparation of plans, details, specifications and cost estimates of plumbing, electrical, fire fighting, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system - Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team

- Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System

- Analyze Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions

- Identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects

- Make plans to organize and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and others

- Should have knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM softwares and Construction Project management software

- Prepare and deliver effective oral presentations whenever required

- Continually review the contractor's construction schedule during the progress of the site works with regards to MEP services and report to the Project Director on the same

- In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same

- Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Mechanical or Electrical University degree in Engineering

- At least 10 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing

- Past experience of negotiating contracts and closing MEP projects

- Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, schematics - AutoCAD and BIM

- Possess excellent organizational skills to manage and lead team

- Possess excellent communication skills to talk to clients

- Should have knowledge of Green building norms and must have a done projects with Gold and Platinum Ratings in the past

- Should have knowledge of National & International MEP codes

- Willing to travel across cities to meet clients and supervise project sites

- Should have done townships, IT parks, commercial complexes projects

- Ahmedabad - Must be well versed in Gujarati and local norms of Gujarat

- Kolkata - Must be well versed in Bengali and local norms of Kolkata

- Bangalore - Must be well versed in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and local norms of Karnataka, -Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh

Note:

- You'll be required to visit Jaipur for 15 days of training and onboarding process

- This is a 6-day job and will have one fixed off every week on Sunday.
