We are seeking a deeply motivated individual who is passionate about buy -side investment research. The individual will be responsible to evaluate fixed income proposals ranging from bonds, real estate backed NCDs, ICDs, renewable energy projects and INVITs. The main objective for the individual will be to produce thought-provoking research that will guide the capital allocation endeavor of the company.

Functional Area: Investment appraisals for fixed income, real estate backed NCD- s, inter corporate deposits and INVITs

Education and Experience :

Must be a graduate, CA, MBA or CFA accreditation would be preferred.

Minimum 2 years of work experience in functional areas of credit rating agencies, real estate developers, banks or housing finance companies

Job Description

- Conduct in-depth due diligence, quantitative and qualitative analysis of proposals

- Develop and manage financial models

- Conduct comprehensive geography wise research and analysis

- Prepare research reports and presentations

- Limited transaction related back office work

Desired Candidate Profile

- Passion for generating alpha, with a penchant for attention to detail

- Well informed about different asset classes and macro issues, with conceptual understanding of important technical terms

- A deep interest and aptitude for analyzing financial information, strategic issues, and trends that affect companies, industries, and markets on a regional and global scale

- Proficient in Excel, familiar with financial modeling & valuation methods

- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide & defend an opinion with management

Essential Skills/Requirements

- Strong accounting knowledge

- Proficiency with Excel

- Candidates residing in Mumbai would be preferred
