The Role - The digital brand strategist is responsible for engaging and growing Pickyourtrail's social channels by creating and distributing informative high value social content to followers across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Part strategist, part hands-on tactician, this team-member will have a key role in envisioning, leading, and implementing social media programs across various channels. - As a member of the growth team, the digital brand strategist will work directly with the founders to set and execute on the social media strategy, and partner closely with the design team to develop campaigns and promotions. This person will have a passion for writing copy that influences, educates, and entertains. - They should be a student of the latest social media trends and strategies and enjoy tracking the industry best practices. We would like a team player who will energetically help enhance our brand and social presence and will adapt and grow with the role as the company grows. To join our team, you should be excited to: - Own all Pickyourtrail social media channels, from planning to distributing and analyzing results. - Handle social media calendar. - Work with the design team to craft promotions for new content. - Build and test original social content in various formats, including video/audio clips, screenshots, charts/graphs, diagrams, tweetstorms, etc. - Work with the influencer team to amplify brand through influencers. - Measure weekly channel and post performance, sharing insights and findings with the marketing team. - Monitor audience sentiment. - Research and identify growth opportunities across new platforms, communities, groups, etc. - Establish and refine brand voice on social, working closely with the growth team. - Share social best practices and guides for general partners and others. Minimum Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience. - Deep expertise as both creator and strategist. - Managed high-visibility / high-profile accounts or top-tier brands. - Handled a team and adept at delegation. - Self-starter (thrived in startups or built side projects). - Strong collaborator and effective communicator across all levels. - Excellent copywriter, can adapt style and voice across different domains / communities. - Real passion for social media and a hunger for knowledge / intellectually curious. - Demonstrated organizational capabilities to track progress, execution and consistency of marketing campaigns Bonus Points for: - Knowledge of the tech ecosystem. - Past Travel Experience - Experience with YouTube.
