Phonon - Project Manager

Job Description

An experienced Project Manager who will take on the management of new, ongoing and existing client projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within scope maintain excellent quality.

Project Manager Job Duties :

- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with sales/technical team.

- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

- Determine the resources (time, resources, equipment, etc) required to complete the project

- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.

- Review the project schedule and revise the schedule as required.

- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion

- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.

- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and excellent quality.

- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

- Report and escalate management as needed

- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

- Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate / Masters from BE Electronics/ Software / Computer Engineering

- Preferable Masters degree in Management / Technology would be an advantage.

- Technical Management, Technical Understanding, Analyzing Information, Informing Others, Staffing, Problem Solving, Data Center Management, Developing Budgets, Coordination, Strategic Planning, Quality Management

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
