Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage process for the development of marketing collateral, inventory management, warehousing, shipment and last mile delivery
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
- Analyse and automate processes to bring efficiency and agility to the supply chain
- Work in a supervisory capacity, overseeing employees within the supply chain team to ensure that the overall process runs smoothly
- Assess current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies to the field
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. inventory planning, last mile delivery)
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, 3PL vendors and warehousing partners
- Define a quality control process and ensure adherence of the same at all levels of the supply chain
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management
- Demonstrated experience reducing cost or improving efficiency in previous jobs
- Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to shipment
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems
- Strong communication skills and effective team management skills
