About the role : The offline team is trying to achieve PhonePe's goal by onboarding every merchant across the country to accept PhonePe. We at the Sales capability team are building a training engine which will enable the sales team to do their job effectively. What will you do? : - Create and articulate a capability roadmap for the sales organization, in-line with the organization's strategic priorities - Work with the different stakeholders (Sales, Product, Marketing, HR) towards the creation and execution of the Sales Capability blueprint towards building a future-ready sales organization. - Owner of the complete sales capability building cycle - Identifying Functional Sales Capability competencies for the field-force across levels - Measuring the effectiveness of the training content dissemination with linkages to overall business - Help the managers coach their team effectively by running TTT initiatives - Manage and constantly try to improve the product knowledge levels and skillset of the team on the field - Help the team design approach to sell new products at PhonePe -- - Highlight key areas of improvement at people/processes/product level - Monthly planning of training calendar in liaison with sales capability manager and region sales manager - Always be on a lookout for new resources to make training interventions more effective Training delivery: - Own New hire onboarding for the region - TTT for managers to enable them to coach their respective teams - Drive rigorous process adoption among the team - Hand holding low performers through OJT What you should have? - Should have at least 5-6 yrs of experience managing sales capability for an organization or an independent segment - Excellent facilitation skills - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Zeal for learning something new - Prior exposure to any sales role would be an added advantage - Should be comfortable with online training sessions along with in-room ones - Should have worked on various training tools to make learning more effective - Should be well versed with MS office - Knowing multiple languages from your region would be preferred
