PhonePe - Dispute Manager - Merchant Operations Team (8-10 yrs)

PhonePe Merchant Operations is looking for a Dispute Manager, with a proven track record in Chargeback and Dispute handling for Merchants and Customers. Relevant Chargeback handling experience in the Online and Offline Merchant Acquiring space or Issuer space is preferable.

Role and Responsibilities : 

- Setup processes and manage team for handling Onus and Offus Dispute handling

- Continuously evaluate associated Merchant risks on Chargeback and advise merchants on Document changes for reduction of Chargeback Risk.

- Keep track and implement the changes in Dispute resolution compliance from Banks / Schemes and Communicate with Internal teams /Merchants on changes in Merchant documentation requirements

- Setup processes for automated Dispute handling and merchant / Bank / Customer communication

- Co-ordinate with Issuers for Good faith / Fee collections processes

- Continuously evaluate industry trends, Dispute handling policies in Merchant acquisition area

- Create and manage reporting for Dispute handling success rates

Experience / Educational Qualifications :

- Strong preference for experience in Dispute management in Banks or payment services, or merchant acquiring companies

- Appreciation of local legal, compliance, collections, banking norms as well as unique and emerging business practices in the Indian market will be an added advantage

- 8 years of relevant experience

- Results driven team player with Team management experience
