We are looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. You will also review employees work and provide advice on compliance. Your goal will be to ensure we operate in a legal and ethical manner while meeting our business objectives. Responsibilities - To monitor compliance framework of the Company and give assurance to the management that all the relevant circulars/guidelines issued by IRDA are being complied with Regulatory Compliance implementation of IRDA guidelines - Tracking IRDAI guidelines & implementing in day to day processes - Assist in liaising with the regulators for follow ups, approvals - Perform due diligence, analyze and filing of suspicious transaction - Submit of quarterly returns to IRDAI - Ensure approval / renewal of IRDA registration license IRDA reporting - Ensure timely submission of all communications and regulatory reporting with Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDAI) - Ensuring and meeting the time lines for IRDAI adhocs reporting - Review the IRDAI reporting - Respond to issues/queries raised by IRDAI. - Monitoring compliance to regulatory guidelines - Dissemination of Act, Regulations, Circulars to the concerned stakeholders - Preparation of process note; Presentation to the stakeholders - Participate in the initial discussion on Product concept, product approval process- meetings, discussions - Training material approval - Changes to be incorporated in the existing SOP of concerned team to incorporate the said guidelines - Implementation and Review Requirements - Proven experience as a Compliance Officer - Well versed with IRDA /RBI Regulatory Compliance, AML, Due Diligence, Regulatory Reporting - Experience in risk management - Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML) - Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards - Excellent communication skills - BSc/BA/PG in law, finance, business administration or a related field - Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is a plus - Preferred Industry - Banking/Financial services
