PhonePe - Assistant Manager - Bank Operations

Job description

The role would offer opportunity to work on payment related initiatives with leading banks, financial and national institutions. Ownership of business relations and projects with payment partners are required for overall improvisation of digital payments on Phonepe. This will give opportunity to think and apply innovation in the payments space. Candidate should show aptitude on the same lines.

Role

Ideal candidate should have:

- Developing metrics and analytics for measuring business and project impact and efficiencies.

- Proficient knowledge of Excel and SQL is a plus.

- Responsible for end to end management of business operations ; define and execute processes to increase operations efficiency.

- Identifying areas of operations/business that require technological intervention and co-coordinating with stakeholders for implementation of technical solutions.

- Coordination between internal teams and external banks/payment gateways, networks for business, commercial, compliance and legal requirements.

- Drive customer engagement through data and suggest product/UI changes for better conversion

- Customer first attitude ; always on toes to lessen pain points of customers

- Should have an overall sense of commercials and unit economics around her/his projects and take steps if required for optimal commercials.

- Help develop and nurture relationships with payment players

- Research oriented ; keeping track of the latest solutions and technologies on the payments space
