The primary purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day running of the department and all relevant accounting functions. Along with that, the person will manage end-to-end financial and accounts operations ensuring high operational efficiency and effectiveness at the corporate level and coordinate with Finance Head. Responsible : - Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. - Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. - Analyze and review budgets and expenditures. - Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness. - Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents. - Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control. - Resolve accounting discrepancies. - Prepare profit and loss statements. - Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits. - Knowledge on all statutory tax laws namely Direct &amp; Indirect taxation, like GST, TDS monthly, reconciliation and filing various returns Education &amp; Experience: - MBA in finance/ accounting and CA preferred - 5+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting function with at least 2 -3 years in a manufacturing set up - In-depth understanding of accounting and reporting standards, principles and processes The Person: - Strong interpersonal and networking skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity - Strong analytical and organizational skills with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
