Job Title: Senior Manager, Market Intelligence/Research

Reporting to: Head Brand, Digital, Communications & CSR

Job location: Gurgaon

Purpose of the Job - 

The role will be responsible for all Market Intelligence initiatives for Personal Health and Health Systems businesses across India. The Marketing Intelligence manager will continuously develop and synthesize consumer & Market research data and competitive insights, through primary/secondary research and collaboration with Product/Services Managers. In addition, the incumbent will help proactively share consumer research insights and to accelerate product research and testing of Marketing campaign brief.The core purpose of this role is to partner and share with the business, the voice of the consumer

As Senior Manager, Market Intelligence/Research, this role leads the following activities:

- To collect and process Consumer & Market research data required across business categories for Healthtech India - Domestic appliances, Grooming, Health & wellness, Healthcare trends etc.

- Providing to the Top management, insights on Market Data like Market share, sizing etc. for strategic planning and decision-making.

- Launching competitive intelligence initiatives to identify threats and opportunities associated with our key competitors (in strong collaboration with Marketing Teams).

- Utilizing syndicated research to obtain market data, industry trends and provide third party, objective viewpoints

- Ensuring effective implementation of RACI agreed with stakeholders for MI Projects plans and Action plan implementation

- Responsible for carrying out market sizing studies (End User Segments - basis Top Down & Bottom up Approach) and consumer home visits

- Responsible for Brand Health Tracking- Equity & Communication Effectiveness

- Other Ad Hoc Studies (Concept Clinics, U&A, Communication Development Test, Product Test)

- Collaboration with Global MI stakeholders across business groups

Working Experience - 

- University degree (Bachelor Degree); A Masters degree& familiarity with statistical tools would be desirable

- Overall 8-10+ years of experience out of which 5+ years should be related experience

- Familiarity with market and customer research techniques and strong working knowledge of basic analytical tools and sharp predictive skills to work on large amounts of data

- Experience in benchmarking market sizes and market opportunity estimates with various external sources.

- Ability to balance both strategic & project work

- Strong analytical rigor with an ability to deliver a clear and concise story
