Philips - Marketing Role - Trade Shopper - Women Returnees (3-5 Months Project) Back in the Game (BIG) is an internship initiative driven by the Diversity Council at Philips India. It is a 3-5 months paid internship program to facilitate experienced women talent transition back into the workplace after a break in their career. We need only women candidates those who are not working currently, went on sabbatical leave, maternity break etc and wants to come back again. Your Challenge : This Internship opportunity is in the field of Marketing / Trade shopper Marketing. Projects are available across Personal Health based at Gurgaon. The live project will be evaluated on completion and may/may not transition into a full-time employment at Philips based on performance & availability of suitable openings in the company. Responsibilities: - To develop, implement, maintain and improve trade marketing tools, allocate the necessary budget and guard the SLA with the supplier, in order to be able to gather distribution and sales information or to get incentive programs in place. - To define the objectives, the activity plan and the budget (incl. MarCom deliverables) for the appointed channels, taking into account the business plan and marketing strategy. - To define and formulate observations and recommendations for new activities through analysis of sales data and through monitoring the success of the trade marketing activities. - To initiate and realize local or regional trade marketing actions and promotions on the basis of the recommendations, in consultation with business management and marketing communications, in order to optimize stock levels in the chain, to stimulate sales-out and loyalty of the distribution channel. - To initiate activities to expand the seller base, so to increase the channel coverage and market penetration and gain market share. We are looking for : - Seasoned professionals with Master in Business Management (or equivalent) in General Management, Marketing from leading business schools in India - Applicants should have at least 3 to 6 years of experience in Sales domain, with a proven track record in (B2B or B2C) - Motivated self-propelling candidates with the determination to succeed and the ability to manage change - Applicants should possess the maturity and self-confidence to work with colleagues across levels. As a strong and compelling communicator, they should easily connect with customers and stakeholders. - Ability to combine conceptual thinking with a (strong) hands-on mentality - Ability to deliver sustainable results through break-throughs, through continuous process improvement and the ability to inspire people and mobilize teams - Customer-focused, communication- and service-oriented approach giving a natural affinity with consulting - Applicants should display abilities to be a team player, open to new ideas and believe in a process of continuous learning in order to develop new competencies - Needless to say, applicants should also have excellent communication skills
