Reports to: Business Head
You are responsible for
- Creating & Executing the annual marketing plan for the year to achieve the target primary sales value for the year
- Messaging strategy by touchpoint
- Asset & Content creation for ATL plans
- Consumer & Customer Activation
- Digital strategy, asset creation, content calendar, execution & KPI achievement
- E-commerce platform content creation/optimization
- E-commerce marketing performance
- Develop communication briefs in line with agreed communication objectives & drive execution in close co-ordination with multiple internal & external partners
- Assess market potential & create business cases for new launches from the global portfolio. Alignment of these launches with the global team as well as actual launch, its activation & performance is his/her responsibility
- Data analysis including primary, secondary & tertiary sales data to identify trends & take action to correct &/or improve current performance
- Inventory management by assisting in accurate demand forecasting & mix management to drive company inventory holding within prescribed limit
- Drive & Grow business in stores with tertiary sales investments (assets, in-store promoters)
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- 4 - 5+ years of strong experience in Brand Marketing. Experience of working with a brand that has grown dramatically is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen. You need to be able to make calculations & business decisions without having to refer to a laptop always.
- Keen creative sensibility. Need to be able to appreciate the difference between the role of each medium & consumers interaction with it to be able to create impactful interventions.
- Excellent Communications skills, Presentation skills
- MBA/PGDM - Marketing is preferred. However, proven creative prowess & hunger to grow fast can make up for the last of a formal MBA.
- A strong passion to scale up & grow. You need to have the ability to think beyond historically forecasted growth models & motivate yourself & your team to aim for & achieve never before growths.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, hand on approach & the ability to reach beyond the JD & do what needs to be done to get to the goal.
- Ability to handle independently & work with multiple stakeholders (internal) as well as agency partners
