Manager – Pharma/Healthcare ,
Exp:
1. A minimum of 6 years of work experience at a leading professional services firm (e.g. international consulting firm, Big 4, leading research house)
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience with a leading pharmaceutical/healthcare-services player within strategy, consulting, and research would be preferable
Education ;MBA/Master’s degree from a Tier 1/Tier 2 institute
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with Pharma/Healthcare sector leaders across the globe by engaging them on pertinent sector issues and helping them generate debate
- Deploy a menu of high value Pharma/Healthcare research products and services; continuously improve solution sets to stay relevant in close consultation with stakeholders
- Independently manage complex and challenging research assignments – either as a part of an ongoing client engagement, or as part of marketing effort
- Responsible for all Pharma/Healthcare related research deliverables including company and industry analysis, point-of-view documents, thought leadership reports and media articles
- Become a custodian of Pharma/Healthcare related knowledge assets by developing processes to capture, harvest and manage research products
- Directly engage with internal and external stakeholders, interpret their requirements, staff projects and manage the communication flow throughout
- Supervise and guide a team of analysts engaged on these projects; ensure that quality, timelines and budgets of all programs are adhered to
- Take on people mentoring responsibilities by assuming ownership for a defined set of individuals and setting their goals; delivering feedback; planning careers and coordinating appraisals
- Set up standards for quality control; measure and report performance against those standards
- Support the overall Research team, in delivery of ad hoc research requests
- Support (or lead) business unit strategy initiatives including business development, talent acquisition, knowledge management, quality, and process improvement
- Assist leadership in daily staffing and periodic reporting
What skills will you be expected to have?
- Highly articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills (especially PowerPoint).
- Extremely strong content knowledge around the pharma/healthcare business models, deep understanding of sector issues
- Experience in preparing presentations, thought leaderships, media articles, industry landscapes, company analysis and regulatory updates
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders around the globe
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights
- Strong people management skills
- Willingness to work in a highly demanding and results oriented team environment where priorities can change frequently
